OneDrive desktopt files disappeared

Hello I recently installed One Drive on my computer. After some minutes all the folders from the Desktop folder disappeared. Now, all these files do not appear anywhere on the laptop nor in the One Drive online version. I had a back up of all these files. So that is not the problem. I am sure that OneDrive is a well-tested software and this should not happen, so please could you tell me what went wrong and how can I avoid this problem if I install OneDrive on other devices? Das hat leider auch nicht geholfen. Ich habe auch noch die Dateien von Hand überprüft und einige *.aux-Dateien gefunden und umbenannt. Sehe ich das richtig, dass es nur um die Dateiendung geht? Von dieser Seite
habe ich noch das Tool heruntergeladen und damit einige Sachen behoben, hat aber auch nichts gebracht.

Hallo,

der Onedrive ist Kontenabhängig und nicht etwa von Office. Da sie vermutlich keinen anderen Account registriert passiert weiter nichts.
