OneDrive for Business moves files automatically

Hi all,

we are using OneDrive for Business (15.04.4907.1000) to sync files locally with SharePoint 2013.

We have the issue that some files sometimes are automatically moved within a document library to the top-most folder level. If I have a document library called "documents" with the folder a, b and c inside and I store a document within folder "a" it is sometimes moved out of the folder and to the highest hirarchy level (which means on the same level than the folders a,b and c. And folder "a" ist empty after that. This is a really weired behaviour if files from your subfolder structure appear on the top level of this structure.

Anyone has heard of that issue? Any hints?

Diese Störung tritt manchmal auf, wenn nach der Erstsynchronisation neue Berechtigungen erteilt wurden. Damit diese beseitigt wird, muss Folgendes gemacht werden:

Alle Benutzer, die diese Bibliothek synchronisieren
müssen die Synchronisation
beenden.
Den lokalen Synchronisationsordner umbenennen.
Die Synchronisation der Bibliothek erneut starten.

Momentan ist es nicht möglich Photos in OneDrive for Business zu taggen.

Auf der Road Map ist Folgendes über OneDrive for Business zu finden:

Photo intelligence (Auto tagging, OCR) and meta data

OneDrive will be able to scan and automatically tag the person in the photo along with intelligent detection and text extraction from your photos.

Hallo Desislava Dimova,

super, es scheint zu funktionieren. Der Trick ist wohl die OneDrive App anstatt die OneDrive for Business App zu verwenden und unter Einstellungen ein Business Konto hinzuzufügen.

Es synchronisert meine Files aus Office 365 OneDrive (Business)

Hi StankoBeronja,

When OneDrive can't sync a file or folder because its name contains invalid characters, OneDrive can sometimes rename it for you.

If OneDrive is able to rename the file or folder, you'll see a Rename option in the notification area. If OneDrive can't rename the file or folder automatically, you'll need to rename it yourself manually.
