OneDrive for Mac feels like broken and is unusable

Since the last update, OneDrive for Mac feels like broken and is unusable! Before I was able to handle my file as files on my drive and they where on my drive. Everything I deleted I found in the trash and all my applications were able to use them. Is was a good behavior and it worked perfect as a backup and to have access everywhere.Now! I have only a linked folder at the directory I choose. The real directory is in the hidden folder library/cloudstorage/onedrive. All my data was deleted from my drive, without asking me! Everything was set on demand. You shocked me a lot because I was feared

Thanks for your answer. That's a little unfortunate. Would be a great addition to the Office Suite in my opinion. I feel like we need more advanced data management tools. However, Do you know if there is an API or something similar to access the compression features that are native to PowerPoint. All the Third Party Tools seem to just work for compressing images, but not Videos.

And also, do you have a recommendation for a Tool for the PowerPoint compression?

For this question, actually there is no way to disable those cell dots as it is set by default in Excel Android app and these dots are also used to drag cell range as well.

I've already installed and set up OneDrive on my Mac. Unfortunately, step No. 5 doesn't exist under my OneDrive settings. It only shows Files that are already in OneDrive.
Do you know if there is another way to choose files to synchronise permanently?
