OneDrive Integration in iOS File App. OneDrive not available in “Save in Files”

Dear team,

I need your help regarding the OneDrive integration in iOS. On some iPads or iPhones i cannot select OneDrive in the options of “Save in Files”. Even though I have checked the right setting in the Files App.

Hello,

I am an independent advisor, and I am trying to help other users in Community with my experience in Microsoft products.

Please try to re-install OneDrive:

1. Uninstall the OneDrive app by pressing and holding the OneDrive app icon. Tap the 'X' in the corner and then accept the confirmation message to delete it.

2. Enable your device's Location Services. Changes in location are used to trigger background activity and is recommended by Apple. For more information, visit Apple Support.

3. Perform a “soft reset” by pressing and holding both the Sleep/Wake and Home buttons simultaneously for at least 10 seconds, until you see the Apple logo. You can let go of both buttons after the Apple logo appears.

4. Reinstall the OneDrive app from the App Store.

5. Make sure that OneDrive is kept up-to-OneDrivedate by enabling it in your device's Settings > General > Background App Refresh.

Dear AvinashThakur2,

kind thankd for your reply. I already tried this problem solution beforehand and checked all settings as well. However, it doesn‘t help. Whilst on my iPhone i can select where to save the file I intend to download:

- On my iPhone

- In iCloud

- In OneDrive

- In Google Drive

I‘m not able to get this option implemented on my iPad. There, the option „OneDrive“ is missing. Somethings is going wrong here.

Where did you save this file?

On desktop or Onedrive?

If you saved to desktop, go to the Temp folder on your computer. Search for all files that are the same size as your PPT file and open them directly in PowerPoint.

Access temp folder:

Open the start menu > Type: %temp% > OK

Make sure your file is there. If not, let me know!

vielen Dank für deine Anfrage.

Man hat keine lokale Synchronisation für mobile Geräte mit OneDrive für Business.
Dort hat man eine Art von Web Ansicht und kann keine Dateien lokal offline zugreifen. Diese Verbesserungsidee wurde bereits im UserVoice vorgeschlagen, aber ist nicht sehr populär und wird möglicherweise nicht implementiert.
Man kann gern zustimmen und kommentieren.
