Hello all,

I've installed on my Windows 10 machine an Oracle ODBC Instant Client 12 in order to connect my Excel macro to an Oracle database. My application is capable to connect to Oracle database by using DAO or ADO drivers. The connection to database works fine with DAO however when I try to use the ADO driver I'm getting the following error: "Provider cannot be found.It may not be properly installed".

How I a ADO connection is being setup in Excel macro:

Set Connection = VBA.CreateObject("ADODB.Connection")
Connection.ConnectionString = IDatenbank_BuildConnectionString(ODBCConnection)
Call Connection.Open

Any advice on how to work with ADO driver and avoid the error "Provider cannot be found. It may not be properly installed."

Excel 2016 is running on 32 bites on a Windows 10 machine used as a server. Microsoft ODBC is installed on 32 bits as the Excel instance.

What I have done until now:

Installed and Oracle Client for ODBC 32 bits;

Installed Access Database Engine for 32 bites;

Microsoft Data Access Components (MDAC)

Und das betrifft auch nur den Office 365 Web Dienst? Oder gehen andere Seiten auch nicht.

Das ist wohl ein spezifisches Google Problem. Google selbst empfiehlt die folgenden Schritte:

Google Chrome's connection attempt to groups.google.com was rejected. The website may be down or your network may not be properly configured. Here are
some suggestions: Reload this web page later. Check your Internet connection. Reboot any routers, modems or other network devices that you may be using.

Ansonsten müsstest du dich an den Support von Google wenden um hier weitere Information zu bekommen.

Das Fix it Programm liefert die Antwort "Microsoft Office could not be removed". Dann geht ein neues Fenster auf: "Multiple copies of Office installed", was mir dann eher ein Rätsel ist...

Du kannst aufhören zu suchen. MS hat uns mal wieder geholfen und es verschlimmbessert.

As of the April 2017 product update, Microsoft disabled the ability to insert Encapsulated PostScript (EPS) graphics into Office documents in order to make Office more secure.

After the update, you may still see EPS listed as one of the available file types in the Insert Picture dialog box, but if you choose an EPS file, there will be no warning or explanation, but the file will
not be imported or it will be imported as a box with a red-x graphic and a message about how the picture cannot be displayed.

das habe ich im Forum dazu gefunden und hat bei mir das gleiche Problem gelöst:

1. Uninstall OneNote (Delete from Application folder).

2. Delete the ~/Library/Containers/com.microsoft.onenote.mac folder.

3. Delete the ~/Library/Group\ Containers/UBF8T346G9.Office folder.

[Note: This may store data for other Office programs. If you use other Office applications, I'd suggest making a backup of this and replacing it later if it does not cause any problems.]

4. Run the 'Keychain Access' program (found in Applications/Utilities) and search for 'Microsoftoffice'. Delete the entries associated.

[Steps 1 - 4 are the general responses provided by Microsoft to solve the issue. If this does not solve your issue, proceed to Step 5.]

5a. From Finder (on the menu bar at the top of the screen), click Go > Go to Folder. Type in /var.

5b. Search within /var for 'onenote'.

5c. Select all of the files (there should be around 6 to 8 of them)

5d. Delete them all. (BE CAREFUL TO ONLY DELETE ONENOTE-RELATED FILES!)

6. Empty the trash of everything that we've deleted. It may say some files are in use and cannot be deleted. Restart your computer and delete them.

7. Reinstall OneNote from the Mac App Store.

8. Enjoy OneNote!
