Good day!Outgoing e-mails that I send with the New Outlook using an IMAP account from Strato always fail with the message:SmtpSubmissionPermanent5XXException: Smtp submission failed. Server 'smtp.strato.de' Port '587'. --> Unexpected SMTP server response. Expected: 334, actual: 501, whole response: 501 5.7.0 Authentication failed Invalid user name Failure code: 6899Receiving e-mails works perfectly fine.Other e-mail addresses, e.g. my Microsoft 365 work account, are fully functional as well.Both sending and receiving e-mails with the same Strato account works with the Old Outlook.I've tri

thanks for your support and for trying... maybe I wasn't clear enough abut "The New Outlook". I was talking about the Preview that is currently being offered.. so the "new, New Outlook"-

I receive all of them after each other. I have to click each one away and receive the next one.
I also noticed that in this Office 365 Outlook Version I can't access the e-mail account details any more. I tonly shows the first page for the e-mail name and the "continue" button leads to "successfully updated" message.
But there used to be a setting to access all the details of server address, password, port details for SMTP and POP servers - none of that is shown here.. How can I controll/change that?
I am terribly sorry for this ongoing questions, but somehow those issues just keep coming with this new 365 outlook version..

I not agree with your answer.

I work many years with Microsoft Office. In the last years with "Office 365".

This is for me new.

This not simple a bug. This is wrong by design. I not lose time with this problem.

We buy "Microsoft Office 2019 Home and Business" (Single Licence) and in 6 Years the new Version 20xx.

Are you getting the certificate error + 3 error messages in a row or just the 2 - the certificate error and the low resources error?

This error is because the certificate was issued for a different server - most common is when you have a custom domain name and the certificate is for the web host name

For example - this is the mx server gehberge.kasserver.com - if the certificate was issued for *.kasserver.com, you'll have an error when you try to connect using gehberger.at domain.

After logging in, on the left side up the there is the button for OUTLOOK. Under this you can find Buttons for E-MAIL, KONTAKTE, KALENDER, SKY-DRIVE.

After trying E-MAIL there is the error warning above and reporting error via:

Using IE 10, OPERA, FIREFOX, WLAN, Cable Connection, cable via UMTS etc. on different Systems gives the some fault.

If you can reach the page with the Mail-Folders trying INBOX (POSTEINGANG) gives the error-message:

"Es tut uns leid, Outlook konnte diesen Auftrag nicht ausführen". | Netzwerkstatus
