WORD VBA: SHOW FIELD CODE OF ONLY ONE FIELD

Hello,

you are talking about captions. As "Abb." isn't one of the built-in labels, it will not be adapted automatically. If you would like to use "Fig." you have to create a new label "Fig." first. Then you have to show field codes by pressing Alt+F9. Now you are
able to replace (Strg+H) "Abb." by "Fig." or "SEQ Abb." by "SEQ Fig.". Pressing Alt+F9 again will show the results. Maybe, you have to update fields (Strg+A | F9).

The field don't update anymore and is simply text. I need to convert multiple PDFs and they'd have the original things of the document not the updated fields.

Ich hab unterdessen im Buch SharePoint Designer 2010 unleashed von Kathy Hughes folgenden Satz gelesen.



There is a limit of 70 fields (67 fields plus one attachement field, one created by field and one modified by field) on custom forms.

Einzig angebotener Workaround ist, die forms mit Infopath umzuschreiben.

Das ist wenig erfreulich. Da es diese Limitation in 2007 noch nicht gab, sind unzällige Forms nun unbrauchbar.
